Tenerife Island is the largest island of the Canary Islands Archipelago. Its capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the second largest city in Canary Islands. The touristic resorts located mainly in the south of the island provide high standards accommodation services and the restaurants cover a very diverse gastronomy, including canary island traditional food: papas arrugadas, mojo picon, Sancocho Canario, and gofio.
Most of the hotels, hostels, residences and guesthouses, apartments and bungalows are located in the southern beach resorts: Playa de las Americas, Puerto de la Cruz, Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje.
